Sweet little ornaments- ideal decorations for the festive season
I am chuffed to bits with this attractive heavy gauge oatmeal blanket I bought and the prompt efficient service I received from Little Wren Interiors.
I am a fussmonger shopper, but didn't hesitate to buy it when I saw the site's 10% discount and most importantly its sound "we plant a tree" initiative set up by founder Ali, who comes across as a companion and real person, which made me feel a little less guilty about shopping online.
I refuse to shop online at behemoth Am----n! I normally try to shop locally, but as this beautiful item was not available anywhere near me I bought it online with a small independent trader, the next best option for me ethically.
I only wish Ali also stocked the slightly smaller version oatmeal scarf that the manufacturer also makes so that I can carry the comfort around on my shoulders in this v.chilly weather, as my blanket is too large to carry off as an oversized scarf!
I keep my cosy blanket around my shoulders in bed, it really helps prevent chilly arms when reading!
If I'm honest it's not quite as soft as I'd ideally like (only 5% cashmere) but that's reflected in the price and it feels very heavy, warm and qualitisome. It looked gorgeous in the chic cream version too, but in the end I plumped for the slightly more practical/dog-proof darker colour!
My only small gripe was that the item arrived in a larger box than the blanket needed.. I can't remember if it arrived by Royal Mail or courier... but hopefully, environmentally, it was the former, as I'd have been prepared to wait longer for it.
- A lovely website selling quality items, which being an online shop only, passes on value (and brand new wrapped, not shop-floor tarnished) products to the customer. I'd happily shop at Little Wren Interiors again.
